As someone who grew up with a Diamante in the family I fail to see how it was an awful car. $30k for a soft leather interior, excellent rear legroom, big trunk, smooth V6 engine, and quiet and soft ride with self-leveling headlights.

Oh yeah, it was completely intentional and tongue-in-cheek. These dudes are pretty well-known for being Sabbath-inspired (to the point of mimicry) but at least they have a sense of humor about it.
